CTMH Studio J Yearly Calendar

For the last several years, I have created THREE scrapbooked calendars for family and myself.  I used to do this the traditional scrapbook way, but now I do it the Studio J way!

First, I get these awesome 12x12 calendars from CTMH:

I stamp the name of the Month, then write in all the dates and finish it by adding some stamping that coordinates with the calendar page :)  I have tried stamping the dates (takes FOOOREVER!!!), I've tried number/date stickers (too time consuming to get those dang things straight)--- so now I just write them in.  Here's what that looks like (from 2011):

Now for the Scrapbooked part..... I use STUDIO J!!!!!  Why???  It allows me to create a layout ONCE, then print as many as I want!  I could make 20 calendars (but I won't, haha).
Studio J makes 2-page layouts--- well, sure, it does.  Here's what I do:  1)  Use the same photos on both pages (3 on one page, 3 on the other page) and use them on 2 different calendars.  OR 2)  Create a 2-page layout and use one page on the calendar, and put the other in my album.
I do the 2nd option most often!  Sometimes, my second layout is completely different from the calendar page.
Let me show you:
Option 1- use one on each calendar:
Same pictures used (+1), one on each calendar :)

Option 2- One page for Calendar, One for album:

NOW FOR THE FINISHED PRODUCT:
Here are my 2012 Studio J Calendar layouts:

There's still a little time to create YOUR 2013 Studio J Calendar!  Give it a try :)  OR Start working on your 2014 Calendar and have it DONE well before Christmas :)

Love this idea. My family and I make calendars every year using Walmart or Costco. They are great calendars but a person is limited to personalizing them. I am going to get on my family to get this started now, maybe have it done for 2014 calendar.
