Kids Handprint Wall Art

We are moving at the end of the month and I've been on the lookout for fun, creative artwork for my kid's playroom.  I came across something similar, somewhere in blog land.

I took a 16x20 canvas (wish it was larger) and painted it black.  Then I cut out 4x4 and 5x5 squares of white cardstock.  I painted my sons hands in rainbow colors and "stamped" them on the larger squares.  Then painted my daughter's hands in the bright and fun colors and "stamped" them on the smaller squares.  This was the arrangement I came up with!  The squares are just adhered with foam tape.  I hope they stay up there!!

I thought having some personalized artwork would not only be fun, but something to treasure too :-)

What do you think???
