CTMH--- Paper Flowers Challenge Card

I came across a video tutorial the other night on how to create paper roses from a uber-talented fellow consultant Tracey Mason.  I sat and created several of these right on the spot.  I was looking and waiting for the perfect card sketch to use them on.  You can see her tutorial HERE!

Along came the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge:

I just knew it was perfect!  I could not resist using my favorite color combo of red, black and white on this card, and one of my all-time favorite paper patterns from the Silhouette Creative Basics (retired) pack.

I doubled up on Challenges today for the Heart 2 Heart Challenge- Sentimentally Yours

Check out how cool these flowers look:
I really want to mail this card to a friend of mine for her birthday later this month.... but I'm not sure it would survive in a regular envelope.  I may just keep it in my ever growing stash :)

Supplies used:
All CTMH unless noted:
Tulip Cardstock
Black Cardstock
Colonial White Cardstock
Liquid Glass
Pearl Opaques
Silhouette Creative Basics
Happy Birthday Stamps
Archival Black Ink
Fiskars edge punch

dI love the way they look.. I just dont see myself doing bulky stuff in my cards.. like huge bows or big flowers.. I really have to step out of my box one day...

Love it ..thanks for sharing..;
